Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

Activities

Something's always happening at Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center; nobody has a chance to get bored.

Each day's activities are unique. For example, Monday brings horseshoes at 10:00, TV time at 11:00, table games at 1:30, bingo at 2:00, and karaoke at 3:00. Tuesday Morning Band at 10:30 is a highlight of the week; Wednesday brings Bible study at 10:00 and reading hour at 3:30, and Thursday is for shuffleboard at 10:00 and sing-alongs at 3:00. The senior Wii bowling league competes on Friday, alternately hosting and traveling to senior facilities in Alvarado and Itasca. Five local churches take turns holding services in the chapel on Sunday, with Gaither hour three times a month on Sunday afternoon.

If the weather's pleasant, we love to fire up the center's bus and take a group of residents out sightseeing and shopping.

Residents and staff both love to party, and the monthly birthday bash is a great excuse for us all to have a great time. Throughout the month we'll also find time for dances and holiday-themed parties.

We love hosting visitors as well, and several guest choirs and bands visit each month.
